I’m going to explain the blog/network a bit for those who may be unaware of what “Sega Fan Club” is, well firstly ill explain the network.

The network consists of a group of sega related sites, they are The Blog, the Offical Site, and the Dreamcast Portal. The network had first stated with the Offical Site, I decided to create it in honour of Sega back when I bought my Very first Dreamcast in the summer of 06, I was amazed at the quality of the console, the games, and what Sega had planned for the console before the turn of the century. I use the offical site has a hub where I go a bit into Sega’s history, demos, games, etc. After the offical site was made I decided to create the portal (I was inspired by PSP Portal 117), after going through various Planetweb archives I managed to get a hold of many files such as web games, VMU stuff, etc that were all compatible with the Dreamcast browser’s. I used the Dreamcast Portal to host the files, although I did very little work on compatiblity since at that time I did not have access to the internet via the Dreamcast (And I still don’t, but hopefully will soon!). Still I used the site for the purpose of hosting until I could acquire the proper tools to make that site what I wanted, I am currently looking into securing videos compatible with the Dreamcast aswell.

After that came the blog at first it started on Blogger, Ill admit Blogger gave me some trouble with things like the RSS links, so I moved to WordPress which is a much better choice and it is one of the most popular blog tools on the internet! I don’t use the blog for Sega related Propaganda like the name suggest, infact I don’t use any of the site’s for that purpose. I use it to blog about things that interest me such as gaming, technology, news, etc. I also created a podcast which got off to a rocky start because the RSS dosen’t like to pick it up for some reason, until I can get that sorted out the podcast is on hiatus.

Well thats pretty much it, but one more thing:

If you like the site(s) and want to give back to the community, then please click on the Kontera ads located through out the network, their are none on the wordpress blog or forum. The reason for the forum is I can’t since I don’t have access to the actually PHP since it is hosted by another company, the new blog dosen’t have them since word press dosen’t allow them. But I do have them on the original blog, so if you want you can get to that via the link on this page or on the main blog site under “blog roll”.
