Yes that’s right, for a second time in a row, Microsoft is proud to announce that its game division has turned yet another profit! This is good news for those at Microsoft, since the Xbox division, up until Halo 3 had not turned a profit! So this means, at the launch of the original Xbox, up until late 2007, Microsoft had been losing money in its games division.
Before the game’s division introduced the Xbox in I believe 2001, the division was focused on PC gaming’s, and they still are, with their newly introduced Games for Windows and Games for Windows Live brands.
